Crate Jacobs specialise in helping our clients with a breadth of intellectual property and commercial dispute resolution matters.
The Crate Jacobs journey started in December 2011 when we met as two young paralegals working for a law firm in Dorking. We quickly realised we shared a common goal – to own and run a law firm.
It was as we worked together and studied law at weekends and evenings that we hatched the idea of what would become, Crate Jacobs.
We are lucky enough to have worked at both regional and London law firms, which has provided us with a wide range of skills to achieve our clients’ goals. Client care is at the heart of our practice, providing clear and practical advice, in a way that makes sense.
We have been through some tough times in our lives and continue to juggle the work-life balance that most are faced with, whilst having fun along the way. Amy is a proud mum of identical twins, George and Frederick, and knows all too well how balancing a career and mum life can be difficult (but nonetheless achievable).
Within our own life experiences, untraditional paths to qualification and many years working in law firms, we have come to understand life and law. We get it.
